In your life, you meet people. Some you never think about again. Some, you wonder what happened to them. There are some that you wonder if they ever think about you. And then there are some you wish you never had to think about again. But you do.

Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one in the world who’s struggling, who’s frustrated or unsatisfied or barely getting by. But that feeling’s a lie and if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day, someone or something will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes, someone to help us hear the music in the world, to remind us that it won’t always be this way. That someone is out there. And that someone will find you.

And after the storm I run and run as the rains come, and I look up, on my knees and out of luck, I look up. Night has always pushed up day, you must know life to see decay, but I won’t rot. And on this mind and on this heart I won’t rot. And I took you by the hand and we stood tall and remembered our own land, what we live for. There will come a time, you’ll see, with no more tears and love will not break your heart but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see what you find there, with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage.

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swaps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours.

But I’ve seen angels turn into sinners and I’ve seen summers turn into winters.

And it’s dark in a cold December, but I’ve got you to keep me warm. And if you’re broken I’ll mend ya and keep you sheltered from the storm that’s raging on now. I’m out of touch, I’m out of love, I’ll pick you up when you’re getting down. And of all these things I’ve done, I think I love you better now.
